Are You On or Off?

On & off--Whenever I hear my clients say they have been going with someone, on and off, that usually means there is a person on and off alcohol, drugs, cheating, abuse or someone who isn’t capable of making a commitment.

THE RIDE--What you like and what you can live with are two completely different things. The roller coaster is a fun ride, but you don’t live on a roller coaster. When a woman breaks up with a man it is usually because she can’t take (it) anymore. It, is the same problem he had when they met. Alcohol, drugs, cheating, or no mutual goal.

THE TURN--When a man says he wants some (space) usually the space he is looking for is (between) another woman’s legs. Better for you to mention he can have all the space he wants, just not the one between your legs.

THE TUNNEL--Will he come back or call me again? Being in the dark isn’t a nice place to keep someone, thinking things will get better if you are just nice and patient. Waiting (you) fills up the car with gas so they can take the ride someplace else. Getting him everywhere and you nowhere except waiting, wondering.

THE EXIT—get off all alcohol, drugs, and men who cheat or who don’t have a mutual goal. All are addictive. I met a murderer once. He said, “To try and love a man with a problem is an obsession and all obsessions destroy you. Take it from one who knows.”
