They say timing is everything.  Especially when it comes to becoming a mom.  I remember thinking if I didn’t get pregnant with my 4th child by the time I was 30 I was going to get my tubes tied.  Now woman don’t even think of having their first child until they are thirty. Not always by choice, just because they think that is what is expected of them.

      The most beautiful, successful women are the ones who aren’t becoming moms because they can’t find the right guy to marry them before it is too late.  So they give up, thinking of themselves as just unfortunate.  Well if that is the case guess what? You are not alone 41% of the babies being born in America today are by unmarried women. Not all young or uneducated.

      I went to a baby shower the other day for a totally happy  single business woman who decided to have a baby on her own (had artificial insemination) and said she was not going to loose her chance of becoming a mom waiting for Mr. Perfect.  

       When I asked one client if she was talking marriage yet in her five year relationship.  She said marriage can wait, but I am having a baby by the time I am thirty and he knows it.

       Men have sex without marriage or commitment because they can. Now Women are becoming MOMS with or without marriage or commitment for the same reason, Because they can.
