understanding empathy

I remember watching my doctor husband putting medicine on his foot complaining that nothing was working to cure his athlete’s foot problem of six months. So I looked at him and said, ”Hey George would you really like to get rid of that athlete’s foot problem”? Knowing I was into metaphysics he reluctantly said yes.

I told him that his feet were his understanding of people. The right side of your body is male and the left side is female. Since his left foot was perfect his female understanding was good & healthy. His problem was on the right foot so his male understanding was in need of repair. Since he came home every night bitching about “That dam fag doctor” he worked with I figured it was him.

So George said “O.K. how do I fix it then? I said, well instead of finding fault you can admire & bless his spirit choosing to coming back as a homosexual man (in this life) with all of it’s problem & prejudices’ of people (to gain a new understanding & compassion).

You can do that and get well or you can come back (in your next life) as a flaming drag queen or let your foot fall off of gangrene (in this one) continuing to think the way you are. Your choice.

Within three weeks his foot was completely healed with no meds just good thoughts and a new understanding.

When you get sick just think about Who is the matter with you? Not what. We like to think we have the right to think bad of others, but we pay the price in this life or the next. Anything you don’t have compassion or empathy for, you can come back as. Your choice
